Treatment After-Care

Your treatment is just the beginning. Following these simple aftercare recommendations will help you maximize your results, support your body's natural recovery process, and enjoy the benefits of your service for longer. Select your treatment below to find personalized care tips from the Simply Blissed team.

Post-Massage Self-Care

Hydrate
Massage can stimulate circulation and the body's natural detoxification processes, so it's important to drink plenty of water afterward. Aim to drink at least 24 ounces of water following your massage.

Rest & Relaxation
Allow your body time to recover and fully benefit from the treatment. Avoid strenuous activities for 24–48 hours to minimize stress on your muscles.

Gentle Movement
Light activity, such as walking or gentle stretching, can help prevent muscles from tightening. Avoid intense workouts for at least 24 hours after your massage.

Nutrition
Support your body's recovery with a balanced, nutritious diet. Focus on lean proteins, healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables.

Heat or Cold Therapy
If you experience soreness, apply a heating pad or enjoy a warm bath with Epsom salts. Ice therapy may also be beneficial during the first 24 hours if discomfort occurs.

Post-Facial Self-Care

Moisturize
Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to replenish moisture and soothe any temporary sensitivity.

Avoid Harsh Products
Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, strong cleansers, and other active skincare products for several days to allow your skin to recover.

Avoid Makeup
Give your skin time to breathe by avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after your facial.

Sun Protection
Avoid direct sun exposure, as your skin may be more sensitive following treatment. Be sure to apply sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.

Avoid Intense Workouts & Saunas
Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating for 24–48 hours, as sweat can irritate freshly treated skin and contribute to clogged pores.

Keep It Clean
Use clean pillowcases and towels to help prevent bacteria from coming into contact with your skin.

Post-Waxing Self-Care

Cleanse
Gently cleanse the treated area with warm water and a mild cleanser, unless instructed otherwise for sensitive areas such as bikini waxing.

Moisturize
Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Exfoliate
Begin gentle exfoliation 2–3 days after your service to help prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth skin.

Avoid the Sun
Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive and prone to irritation. Avoid direct sun exposure and always use sunscreen when outdoors.

Avoid Intense Workouts & Saunas
Avoid excessive sweating for at least 24 hours to reduce irritation and clogged pores.

Wear Loose-Fitting Clothing
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to minimize friction and allow the skin to heal properly.

Post-Brow Tint Self-Care

Keep the Brow Area Dry
After your brow tint service, keep the area dry for 12–24 hours. Avoid washing your face, swimming, saunas, hot showers, and activities that cause excessive sweating.

Be Gentle with Skincare
Avoid rubbing, scrubbing, or stretching the brow area. Refrain from applying makeup or brow products immediately after treatment. Avoid retinols, retinoids, and other active ingredients around the brows, as the skin in this area is delicate and may become irritated.

Limit Sun Exposure
Wear sunglasses or a hat when outdoors, as excessive sun exposure can cause the tint to fade more quickly.

Brush Gently
Use a clean spoolie brush to keep your brows neat and shaped. Avoid excessive brushing.

Post-Body Wrap Self-Care

Hydrate
Body wraps can cause temporary fluid loss through perspiration. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help rehydrate your body and support the treatment's benefits.

Skin Care
Avoid harsh exfoliants, strong skincare products, and aggressive scrubbing for 2–3 days after your treatment. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to help maintain hydration.

Gentle Movement
Light activities such as walking or stretching are encouraged. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours following your body wrap.

Nutrition
Support your body's wellness goals with a balanced, nutritious diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limiting excessive amounts of processed foods, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and carbonated beverages for several days after your wrap may help prolong the benefits of your treatment.
